For SEO this is probably good. For website placement, its way too long and the music gets old. For website, clip it to about 30 seconds with softer music, show only the best pics. Cool idea putting an album to video like that.

I took 777 photos of that particular project.
A friend of mine who operated a roofing forum, called NRGForums, (National Roofing Group), wanted members to send in their stuff and he edited their offerings for free.
Yes, I agree that for a website the optimal retention length should be significantly shorter, but I will make do with what I have.
It is not even posted on my site yet.

I can't even imagine what you must know to be able to undertake a project like that, Ed. http://www.easyfreesmileys.com/smileys/idea-007.gif (http://www.easyfreesmileys.com/Free-Thinking-Smileys/)

Thanks for the blown up ego man.
Sometimes, it is what you don't know, which is the reason to take on such projects.
Check out this other really cool job we did many years ago.
Is this what you are talking about?
Here is a thread that has photos from the one that we did.

The rolled eaves and rakes are most commonly called, "Cotswald Cottage" Style, but goes by Gingerbread Style, Thatch Style, Mushroom Style and a few more that I can't recall right now.
I did one in 1991 and have photos posted on several forums, so I will retrieve the link for you.
Got it.....
For your review.
The photos of the one I did are in this thread.

There is a decent discussion about the types here.

Those are cool pics. I've seen several of those houses around Wilmette, Winnetka, and Kenilworth with the wicked build up look and I always wondered who the hell I would call if I was ever asked to do that. Now I know you are the man.
Check out this slate turret these clients want me to tear off and replace with a hipped roof. Seems like a shame to me but neither the architect or myself can talk them out of it. :rolleyes3: Then I ask myself why am I trying to talk someone out of work.

Did you ever find out a reason why they want to change that conocal turret into a hipped one?

They say they just have never liked it....It could be a historic home if they wanted it to be and that turret is original but like I said we haven't been able to change their mind.

I grew up in Chicago off of 26th street and moved out in 1968. When I went out on my own and went to Circle Campus, I moved back around the neighborhoods there.
The last location was around Cermak Road and Laramie in Cicero.
Not too far from there, but a world of difference in the environment.

Yeah that's not my usual stomping grounds but I have a good relationship with this architect and he asked me to do it so how could I say no. It's amazing to me how quickly the "environments" change around there but at least it's not as bad as the south side. Although, I did have a friend who was working in Oak Park last week, stopped at H.D. to pick up a couple 2x4's. Was in the store 5 minutes tops, and had someone pry the door handle off his truck with a screw driver. I just got to constantly remind myself that no area is completely safe.
