I usually have both Safari and Firefox open and switch back and forth. I like FF because of all the addons. I use Safari a lot at my day job.
I actually have all my biz stuff bookmarked on FF and Personal/School stuff on Safari.
I have a mac, so patches and fixes are rare.

IE 8 - sorry but I trust MS, more than the other companies for patching & fixing problems (assuming you stay somewhat current with their releases) & it is generally easier to patch then the others
On the flip side would I run IE6 now - no, I would definitely be on FF or something similar if that was my only option
On the security side, MS software is the most attacked software by crackers & hackers - is that bad, not really. With all the attacks it helps make their software more secure as they keep up with the patches & know about issues generally pretty quickly. The others with less market share, are less likely to know that someone managed to find a way in, or have as many resources necessary to close the loopholes. There is no truly secure PC or software available unless it never talks to any other computer.

It might be my imagination, but it seems like it takes more time to load things on IE than it does on Firefox

I mainly use Firefox right now but I notice it is getting slower. I also have IE which the other half of the family use.

FF 90% of the time
Seamonkey 10% of time.
Seamonkey is a mozilla product...
As this is my 2nd post...I'm too much of a noob to post a link :mad2:

As I am the queen of the not-straight answer...
I use Firefox, IE and Chrome.
I am moving from Firefox to Chrome more.
But I use multiple browsers to keep some things straight when dealing with multiple windows (my data vs client data).
Then again, I can confuse easily. :mad2:

I use FF now. I seem to have trouble with IE crashing all the time. With FF it's a rare occasion and even if it happens, I can restart my session (unlike IE).
I still need to use IE every once in a while for certain downloads for MS, but that's the only time I use it.
