Well, overnight my power supply died on my computer. The computer shut down and left me with a full battery.

I did the chat thing with Dell and with the info I had saved on my computer for the power supply I ordered about 6 months ago I was able to get a warranty replacement for the dead PS.

It was nice that I was able to do everything from the chat session. No calling up or mail. My new PS will be arriving within 2 days at my home.

My sisters BF is coming down today and will stop at my house and get my spare. Gonna have to be on a full vacation today as my battery is now at 60%.

Just happy I didn't have to pay for another charger. My original one would put out power but wouldn't charge the battery, which I found really odd. But it does the same thing on all 3 dell computers.

No hassle from Dell at all. I was actually surprised at how smooth it went as soon as I found my recent order info. Without that it would have been nearly impossible to get anything accomplished.

Great to hear good support outcomes.

As consumers we are usually quick to voice complaints but let good service go unannounced.
