I studied the blues, I played the blues and I like a lot of blues people, here's a guy who many have not heard of.

Furry Lewis, I saw him do a song called Goin Down with The Alabama State Troopers, it brought the house down.

William Clarke. One of the hardest working blues men I ever met. Never missed a show when he came to Syracues and always made sure to spend some time with him to get some tips on the Harmonica.
Dearly missed in the blues world when he passed away in the 90's. RIP William...

I got a mess of harps myself, and an old tube amp with a Shure bullet mic.. I played a bit in Chicago when I lived there and still get out around town here once in a while.
If we ever have an RC throw-down, we got the makings of a decent blues band.
Charlie Musselwhite is one of my all time favorites.....

Last time I saw Charlie I offered him a nice stiff Gin & Tonic, just like he like them. That was in the late 80's.
He looked at me and said, "I've been dry for 2 years now".
Ooops!:o

I got to see these guys in a tiny little juke joint in downtown Utica, NY about 10 years ago. They had the whole brass section with them!
Crappy recording but it was the best I could find.
