As a friend, I must advise that

You are supposed to work in the light. If you need a lighted level you are working too late. It is time to go home.

Warner, it is a slippery slope you are on. First, the lighted level, next, you will want one of each of everything they make. When you touch that work of the devil, there is no hope for you.

I think that sounds like an awsome tool!!
I hate it when I can't quite read my level either because of limited light or a layer of dust on the vial.

And they think we are in the trades for some OTHER reason ?
BTW, any of you guys tried or find use in any of the top quality laser levels?
Us paperhangers find them absolutely necessary. And when I show them to many other trades - I see that look in their eye.
I'd psot a pix of the PLS 180, but noob status won't allow it. You can see a vid from their home page:

Just gonna hazard a guess here that alot of builders use laser levels for lots of things from foundation layout to framing to siding. Excavators and masons use them as well.

Also useful for tiles, ceilings, and cabs.
Electricians get interested in them for locating boxes.

Yeah, the black Bila's are sweet!!
Put my lighted vial level to work yesterday and today, working in a big closet with out any lights yet, and working on the back side of an entertainment wall.
Should I show you a picture of my Festool headlamp I bought?!?:laugh3:
