Yea, they've been promoting that (Service Magic) and the Advanta credit card (you know, the one that took your guaranteed 8% and made it 25-40%)...

It made me loose a lot of respect for them.

I got one also. Hanley Wood must have scoured there full database for email addys. Personally, I will never utilize anything that has to do with ServiceMagic. That said, I'm not going to stop buying H/W's books, read their mags, or leave their forum. I have to be able to separate the wheat from the crap.

I generally get about 2 or 3 of those a month from both Hanley Wood & JLC. I must have missed the part about Advanta - aren't they gone for good?

Pretty simple for me when I get this crap from them - delete
