Is this directed to Fez? http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Laughing/hahaha-024.gif He has trouble doing simple techie stuff. I can multi-task, however. http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Laughing/hahaha-024.gif

Rory,
You can change the size limits in the ACP.
You can also allow a whole bunch of other extensions for different file types.
I noticed you didn't have the various versions of XLS in your list for one and I am sure there are others that people could use too.
It's all up to what bandwidth you guys decide to use and limit your members to.

Yeah I noticed the changes in the panel. I doubt anything will change until the new server goes live

I would like to see a thread (or sub forum) with PDF copies of our ads, flyers and brochures on it in order to inspire us to make our own ads even better. I know it will take a lot of space on the new server - but do you think that would be a possibility?
EDIT: I would also like to see it in the public section - because after all ads should be seen as often as possible :2thumbsup:

I like that idea in the private section though.

I don't think that will be a problem at all Jessie.

Hey Ed,
Just curious as to why you would not want your ads to be seen?
Thanks

Well, I can think of one - I'm not the owner of the company. While he doesn't mind me always tweaking the marketing, he'd rather have the final product in place rather than a potential client seeing the rough drafts.

Funny, I was just thinking this morning, what if we made a mailing list of members of RC and added to our own when we did a mailer? I realize it could be expensive when we get 50,000 members!:2thumbsup:
But it seems doable to add 12-15?!

That is an excellent idea!
I'm not very good at expressing myself or getting my ad ideas down on paper. I have learned to point my designers to other ads and tell them what I liked or disliked about them in order to refine my own. :2thumbsup:
If we get "to many" members then we could set up a group of interested individuales. The PDF copies would still be good for our ads that are in magazines, news papers etc....... I really like you guys but I'm not going to buy all those news papers and magazines to clip my add out of. :mad2:

I found the gallery, and see that it won`t allow pics over a certain size(600kb?),I would suggest using your camera phone for pics, and adjusting the size to 240x480 (?)
