There was a very small addition on this back corner, and an existing screened porch to the left. We removed both.

Came out real nice Chris. It the fist pic with the new addition I didn't like how it stuck out. But the next pic with all the brick on there it fits right in, doesn't look like the sore thumb it did with the tyvek on.

Thanks Leo. We got VERY lucky with the brick--as the original (89 y.o.) was made by a company no longer in business.

We did a window fill on the second floor so the roof of the screened porch didn't have to be shortened (it was inside a closet and in very rough shape). The new brick wasn't close enough so we cannibalized some brick from the back of a detached garage (and replaced those with new).

It's not a perfect match but in a few years will probably blend in better.

Another challenge we faced was the original mortar was white--with 89 years of weather. Made it very tough to get a perfect match.
