Here is a basement plan I am working on with several variations. Just wanted to share these as he was asking about the program I am using.

Thanks Eric, its http://www.homedesignersoftware.com/ the architectual version I am upgrading to pro then to full chief version. Its easy to use and lots of manufacturers materials I can download like all kohler products or Dal-tiles line of tile.

Kevin, a comment on your layout, if I may. The access from the large bedroom to the bathroom is quite a distance. Could you move the closet for that bedroom into the laundry area and put the door where the closet is now? Office area now goes on the other end of the room. Not a sermon, just a thought.

Thanks for posting Kevin.
I have the same program now, and I'mstill trying to figure it out.
Where do I find a toilet and vanity to place, without having to use a premade bathroom layout?
The simple things stump me sometimes....

Hi Mike, cant move the closet as it will hide a laundry chute from upstairs and the main drain for the house, a 4inch cast iron behemouth, I offered several times to have the access to bath thru bedroom.

Hey Kevin, any way to enlarge the dollhouse view for printing?
I'm only using about 1 third of an 8.5x11 page now.
BTW, my HP officejet 7000 Wide Format printer is killer for printing plans on an 11x17 sheet.
Already hearing good feedback from prospects.

Hey Darren you will have to experiment with the landscape view which you can change in the print menu.
Also try using the legal size paper.
I had a lot of problems with printing at the start and just messed with it until I made it fit on the 8x11.
Call me when you are working on it and I can guide you through the steps.

Whatever makes me look better than the next guy gets the nod.
Flip open the 11x17 plan, and watch em ooh and ahh.
I doubt anyone else is doing it.
