Whats with those corner blocks?

They are still like that. It was a new carpenter he had never seen them before. We laughed our asses off about that. He thought it looked fine.

Here's a picture of my white ceiling.

Not a spot on it and no roller ridges, either!

Hey, Rory. I love the quality use of caulk on the casing, love the watermarks on the pics, (how you do that anyway?) and love the rosettes. Rosettes?

I hate the beams on a ceiling when I am following a hack or a HO done job, there is always paint on the wood. My wife doesnt usually notice it until I point it out, so maybe it is just a painter thing, but it still bugs me.

The mods asked me to only post pics in the super painters section so as to not offend the other 'painters':rolleyes3:

On behalf of all of the other painters here I would like to thank Bender for not making us hang our heads in shame.

I'm trying to remember...
I built it about 10 years ago. It seems I used a fluted bit (in a jig) to cut it out, then a (roundover? bit) to get the reveal.

That was a way cool "high def" TV before anyone knew what high def was going to be:rolleyes3: That TV just died so now I need a new bridge.
The bridge is lighted with rope light to. Very pretty at night if I do say:)
This is the new one (with custom welded swiveling wall bracket:grin:)

Didn't want to move the furniture I see. One of my first bosses would paint his house like that.
