It's happened a lot to me over the last week or so, anyone else? This browser has always worked well for me until lately. I think it only happens on this site.

I had this issue (not here of course) immediately after the release of FF 3.5. Seemed to happen when I had too many tabs with java heavy websites open. Has not happened since the upgrade to 3.5.2

Make sure you browser, jave and flash are up to date.
They have all been updated/patched recently.

I checked, and everything is up to date. Not sure what the cause could be. It happened 3 times last night even when 1 tab was in use.

A couple of things to try.
Disable any extensions you have installed (Tools_>>Add-ons disable all and test)

Do you have Norton (From Symantec) programs, Antivirus or suite, disable and test, careful where you browse while disabled.

You can always reinstall Firefox as it keeps your profile info (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Profiles) in a separate location.

I have not had a problem, I have FF 3.5.2, always have 5 or more tabs and Safari with a few tabs open all the time, on my Mac!

Actually I have been told by a "website" company that Firefox is designed for MACs and Internet Explorer is designed for PCs. If you can, try using Internet Explorer and see if you run into the same issue. I know when editing my website in Firefox, certain editions wouldn't show up correctly in firefox but they would in Internet Explorer.

There are less pop ups and updates though in firefox; I will admit I always like using firefox more often for some reason.

Hey all,

I'm the software guy who currently only supports IE, and realizes that I eventually need to be FF compatible (with my entire story already well documented in the MyOnlineToolbox forum section). In any case, it is good to see that FF is not invulnerable to problems when I get challenged for staying with just IE (at least for today). Best of luck.

Could be; I'll have to run a scan now. It still crashes about 3 times a day.

You aren't alone Jason.
I've had the same problem for a while,
it comes and goes, but seems most likely
when I have multiple tabs open.
It's continued through many updates.
My son tells me I need to uninstall
and start from scratch, but that seems
more daunting somehow than putting up
with it. :surrender:
