The Get It In Writing website (http://www.hiringacontractor.com/En/default.asp) done by the Canadian Homebuilder's Association is great.
I remember it from a while ago, but just stumbled on it again recently and there is even more useful information than last time I read through it.
I plan on incorporating links to it on my website and possibly refering it to customers who need some "education"
