Of all the phones in the construction industry this seems to be the most popular with PM's and the owners.

We're running all 8300 Curves synced with the google apps.

Just recently learned that if you put the address on your google calendar (usualy on the desktop at the office) for all appointments and then sync to your BB - that you can push the "drive to" function and it automatically loads into GPS. Big time saver

I'm running the BB Curve w/ Nextell. I love it so far. Just signed up for the apps and haven't gotten any yet. I'll need to look through the list. I don't care for all the games, but I'm hoping for weather apps at the least.

The one I have has a nice GPS by TelNav. Came with the package.

I have a BB Storm with Verizon and love it.
I have Google maps, Google Sync, Google Voice (which doesn't work right, not formatted for touch)
Those keep me connected.

Also I have Qik ( http://qik.com/squirrelnmoose ) I can take videos and they upload immeadiatly to Qik. The Storm has a surprisingly good camera. Here's one of thebetter pictures I took with it. http://photos.squirrelnmoose.com/tag/blackberry-storm/

WeatherEye - simple free weather app.

Viigo - I just use it for RSS.
UberTwitter - great twitter app.

Youre right - the video and picture quality are excelent on the BB. We use the video quite a bit on commercial proposals to show and narrate the scope of work that we are bidding on.

There seems to be a lot lost in translation between corprate offices and store managers when it comes to the scope of work (or anything else) - but we usualy get the blame since store managers with a Napolean Complex can do no wrong.
