I have to replace the front door and frame on my place. Bugger of a job. The set eh frame and back framed it solid to the frame. No space what so ever. Plus i thought that I was going to be able to set the new threshold on the foundation? NO way. They set a lintel in there and had brick on top of that. Then sat the threshold on those bricks.
You know what happened when I took the threshold out right? All the brick came out too. Everyone. Just got done setting those back in and getting the new lime stone threshold ready to go in.
Have to cut it to length and cut a drip groove in the bottom of it. GOing to cut the old frame on both sides 2.5" so I can get it in. Then tomorrow I can set the new door and frame in. Will try to get pics for ya guys.
