Sun Remodeling Specialists, Inc Gets a New Look for 21st Birthday

Burke, VA – July 22, 2009 -- After 21 years as one of the Washington region’s top remodeling companies, Sun Remodeling Specialists, Inc., is giving itself a new logo and look.

Sun Design’s new logo combines a modern, abstract “sun” in a burnt yellow color with an updated “SUN DESIGN” typeface. Company President Craig Durosko, said, “Our new logo is designed to reflect Sun’s reputation for the best in creative design, the warmth that our high-quality work brings into clients’ homes and a stronger, bolder image that signifies the confidence of a company with more than two decades of exquisite design, expert remodeling, and enduring relationships.”

Sun Design is growing steadily. May 2009 was its best sales month in more than a year and the second best in its history. It was also named by Washingtonian Magazine – for the second time -- among the top remodelers in the Washington, D.C., metro area. The company has won dozens of industry awards for its creative design, the quality of its remodeling and for the excellent service it provides to customers.

Earlier this week, the company announced that it has received two new certifications that recognize its excellence in “green” design and construction and for helping clients remodel their homes to age in place.

Definitely didn't like the old logo. Their advertising online has been sporadic. Will be interesting to see what the new site looks like. (I hope they are going to incorporate some sort of tag line into the logo.)

They advertise heavily and often.

What really stood out tome was the text in bold

That was probably the worst part of the year for most guys in the industry and they excelled during that period of time.

Now is not the time to pull back on marketing - there absolutely is business out there. You just have to be smarter about it. Some of my customers are increasing their advertising right now. They keep their clients for long-term, so acquiring them now will pay off in the long-term.
