I've often wondered......Any TV's get damaged by a fireplace location like that? That thing sure is black above the firebox.

Yep the heat will take a toll on most TV's if they are too close to the heat..

We burned wood in the fireplace during the cold season when we started the project, been in there 4 months now....

The chimney has been relined and the damper repaired.. Its been framed up for a few months..

Which reminds me I need to test it again..
