Organic search traffic is one of the most important sources of traffic in any business. Social media can have a greater or lesser effect, but for long term consistent traffic, nothing beats getting your blog, site or business to the sop of the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages).
It is becoming more and more important to undertake Keyword research before deciding on names, slogans, mission statements and so on.

Your online presence should be considered as early in the process as possible.
Keywords and SEO are very important, particularly in more competitive industries but great branding can overcome this and is more important.
They can sometimes be combined, branding and SEO. Remodel Crazy is a great example.
Remodel is a great word included in the name for SEO and topic relevancy, and Remodel Crazy is great branding.
KornerKing is great branding, but not so great for SEO.
BTW - which is it Pete, KornerKing or Korner King? I see it as KornerKing in most places, but a couple, like YouTube, say Korner King.

It is actually KornerKing. What I am finding though is people typing anything from that to korner king, cornerking, king korner and it is coming to me. #1 phrase is corner cabinet solution.
