This is our current project we are working on with Precision Builders of Wallace NC.
We will be finishing this one, Precision is doing all the demo, framing, roofing and siding. Should be ready for electricians as soon as the soda blasting, and priming are done.

Welcome aboard, Wilmigton.
I can smell it from here. The smell of a fire damaged house is something that sticks with you. Yuck!
Be careful with that soda blasting. They blasted the house next door after their little inferno. Even though the windows were still boarded up, the soda that managed to escape turned all the folage in my front yard brown. I immeditally sprayed the soda from the yard when I saw what had happened. Yet the shrubs, grass, and flowers all turned brown . They survived, but I was a little upset. Everything looked dead for a good two weeks.

Soda blast followed by a healthy sprayed coat of BIN? That's my SOP.
Do you have to sand the framing members? Sometimes that is done in lieu of the soda, but I wouldn't think it would hurt to do both.

Updates on the job, primed and ready for plumber and electricians. Hopefully this one will move fast, the homeowners are anxious to move back in and putting pressure on the GC. I don't envy him on this one..

No it was subbed out to someone else. If I were to concentrate on fire resto I would for sure get set up to do it.

I would hit up the entire section devoted to it at CT. Lots of active guys there.

Have been actually. I have 2 blast pots right now. One for soda and one for abrasives. I think there is going to be insanely huge money in doing wet blasts on RRP homes. HUGE WIDE OPEN money.
